My work spans a wide range of shoots, bringing multi-disciplinary expertise in makeup, body art, prosthetics, and SFX to creative projects of all kinds. Whether it’s a creative photoshoot, music video, commercial, advertising campaign, editorial, personal project, or private booking, I pride myself on being able to collaborate well with photographers, stylists, models, and creative teams to bring imaginative concepts and striking aesthetics to fruition.
My technical precision, years of experience and inherent creativity allow me to create visually impactful looks to suit your style or concept; from bold to polished to finessed. In addition to creativity, I offer respect, mindfulness, kindness and a positive attitude. Creating open and friendly communication between myself, the models/artists and camera crew to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
I welcome both professional bookings and private commissions, offering a friendly, flexible approach that adapts to each team or individual’s needs. I look forward to hearing about your project!
Classes
I thoroughly enjoy being able to pass on some of the knowledge and skills I’ve learned from my years as a professional artist. As well as running classes occasionally, I am often asked to do private and one-to-one lessons where I can accommodate all skill levels. So far I’ve taught face art and eco-glitter, SFX (special effects makeup), drag makeup and bridal makeup classes. Starting with the very basics so everyone has an understanding of essential products and hygiene practices, to sharing some of my favourite techniques I’ve developed or learned over my career.
Recently I’ve noticed many teenagers, particularly those navigating behavioural, mental health, or attention challenges, showing a strong interest in SFX makeup. Having taken years to discover my own career path, and a few more to find the self-belief to pursue it, I am inspired to offer classes and guidance for parents or guardians who want to support their teens’ creativity and passion. I aim to teach not only industry skills in makeup, prosthetics, and SFX, but also the dedication, focus, and personal growth required to turn a passion into a viable and fulfilling career.
As my work in film can be wildly unpredictable, classes are booked directly with me at a time that suits us all. I usually recommend starting with a half-day session to cover the basics. Additional sessions can then focus on designing and creating complete character looks, with options tailored to their goals and your budget. My classes are hands-on, engaging, and tailored to help each student build confidence, develop practical skills, and explore their creativity in a supportive environment.
